Uninstalling True Protection

If you need to remove True Protection by Jag from your device, follow the instructions below for your operating system. Uninstalling will remove all protection modules, but your license remains valid and can be used to install on another device.

Uninstalling on Windows

• Step 1: Open Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.
• Step 2: Find True Protection by Jag in the list.
• Step 3: Click the three-dot menu and select Uninstall.
• Step 4: Follow the uninstall wizard. You may choose to keep or remove your settings and quarantined files.
• Step 5: Restart your computer when prompted.

Uninstalling on macOS

• Step 1: Open Finder > Applications.
• Step 2: Locate True Protection by Jag.
• Step 3: Right-click and select Move to Trash, or drag it to the Trash.
• Step 4: Open True Protection Uninstaller from the DMG if you need to remove system extensions and kernel components.

Before You Uninstall

Consider the following before removing the software:

• Deactivate your license on this device first via Settings > License > Deactivate so you can reuse it.
• Export your quarantined items list if you need it for reference.
• Ensure you have another security solution ready to install, as your system will be unprotected after removal.
